In addition to entering an address for an organisation, you should also enter a geographical information in the Lat / Lng section of the Setup tab of an organisation form.
This tells the system roughly where you offer a service, and is used in the following places:
- Checks client addresses are within this area
- Checks care worker addresses are not more than a sensible distance outside this area
- Searches in this area for GPs for a client
- Searches in this area for a pharmacy for the client
4 can cause problems where a client users a mail order pharmacy, since it can be well outside the area in which service is offered. This means that the system will not return the pharmacy when you do a search. In this case you should temporarily increase the radius to something large (like 2000), update the pharmacy and then reset the radius.
